Assailant Arrested for Anti-Jewish Attack in NYC

A 38-year-old man has been charged with an antisemitic hate crime following a confrontation with members of the NYPD in Travis during Rosh Hashanah.
Misleh Belal, 38, of Lillie Lane in New Springville, was arrested after he allegedly used his car to block a police vehicle at about 4:05 p.m. on Oct. 2 on Travis Avenue near Victory Boulevard, according to the criminal complaint.
