Threatening Antisemitic Message Discovered Inside Fake Skull in Connecticut Neighborhood

New Haven police said Monday that they are investigating a plastic skull found with an antisemitic message.
At 11:35 a.m., the city’s police officers went to the area of Olive Street and Greene Street after receiving a report that someone found a “plastic, Halloween-type” skull with the words “dead Jew” written on it near the sidewalk.
Police said there is no indication that residents of nearby homes were targeted and that no other items were found.
Officers searched the area for houses with video or Ring cameras, but police said residents were not home.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact detectives at 203-946-6304 or the department’s anonymous tip-line at 866-888-TIPS (8477).
