Nadeen Ayoub

Nadeen Ayoub, Miss Palestine 2025 and Palestine’s Miss Universe representative, has hijacked one of the most visible global stages to cosplay as a cultural ambassador. Rather than advocating coexistence, she’s used her spotlight to amplify antisemitic tropes and circulate misinformation.
In September of 2025, Ayoub shared a post claiming to highlight the suffering of Palestinian children while citing supposed United Nations figures of 28 children killed daily in Gaza. In reality, the post included images of Israeli children – the two Bibas brothers as well as Noya Dan, all 3 of whom were taken hostage and murdered by Palestinian terrorists. Presenting these Israeli victims as Palestinians is misleading, false, and antisemitic as it erases the identities of these Jewish children who were deliberately targeted and executed.
Ayoub’s hateful messaging does not stop at her online presence. Ayoub was previously married to Sharif Barghouti, a son of Marwan Barghouti, a senior Fatah leader serving life sentences for directing terror attacks in Israel that killed five people (four Jews and a Greek Orthodox monk) in 2001 and 2002. She has since spoken on the matter, defending and glorifying Barghouti calling him a “peace symbol for Palestine.” On an international stage like Miss Universe that reaches so many people, this relationship and repeated support for a convicted terrorist reinforces Ayoub’s pattern of antisemitic rhetoric, normalizing and honoring figures who have targeted and murdered Jewish civilians.
During the Gaza conflict, Nadeen Ayoub shared widely viewed social-media posts that grossly inflated Palestinian casualty figures and labeled Jewish historical sites such as Jerusalem and Masada as “Palestine”, erasing Jewish history and indigeneity, denying Jewish self-determination, and spreading false narratives.
Nadeen Ayoub’s rhetoric, amplified to millions worldwide, fuels extremism and hatred toward Jewish communities. Using such a wide platform to misinform is reckless and harmful, a stark reminder of how public figures can normalize hate and endanger innocent lives.
