Guy Christensen

Guy Christensen is a 19-year-old TikTok influencer who has amassed over 3 million followers while using his platform to peddle antisemitic conspiracy theories and glorify terrorists. He gained his following in the wake of the October 7th massacre and, in recent weeks, sparked controversy by posting a video supporting Elias Rodriguez, the shooter in the fatal assassination of two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C. Christensen referred to the victims as “war criminals” and Rodriguez as a “resistance fighter,” refusing to condemn the killings.
TikTok removed the video for violating hate speech guidelines, despite Christensen’s multiple appeals. His comments have drawn widespread criticism from lawmakers, experts, and advocacy groups concerned about the proliferation of his antisemitic and violent content on social media.
This isn’t Christensen’s first brush with controversy. In December 2023, just two months after Hamas launched its war on Israel, he pushed the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Israel traffics Palestinian organs and operates the world’s largest skin bank. While Israel does have one of the largest skin banks, it exists to treat burn victims (both civilian and military) and is run under strict ethical standards, sourcing donations through legal and medical channels like in the U.S.
The organ harvesting claim is a long-debunked antisemitic trope rooted in the “blood libel” myth. It gained traction after a 2009 article in the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet alleged, without evidence, that Israeli soldiers harvested organs from Palestinians. The author later admitted he wasn’t sure of the claims. In reality, Israel’s 2008 Organ Transplantation Law bans organ trafficking and requires informed consent, fully aligning with international ethical norms.
A few weeks earlier in November 2023, Guy Christensen claimed “there is no getting rid of Hamas” and that “trying to is not the solution.” He went on to argue that Hamas was created due to Israeli oppression, ignoring the fact that Hamas was founded in the 1980s and later democratically elected after Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in a bid for peace. Christensen concluded his rant by stating that Hamas is not the issue, Israel is, and that violence against Israel will never stop, ending with the slogan “Free Palestine.”
Then Christensen claimed the IDF shot their own civilians on 10/7, diverting blame from Hamas, and alleged that all the fires and burnt-out cars were caused by Israelis, despite Hamas filming themselves committing the atrocities. These claims are unfounded and distort the reality of the attack. In the chaos of the ongoing assault by Hamas, there were a few unfortunate instances of friendly fire, a tragic but not uncommon occurrence in combat. However, there is no credible evidence that Israel deliberately targeted its own people.
In one of his most disturbingly twisted videos, Christensen romanticizes Yahya Sinwar, acknowledging him as the mastermind behind the October 7 massacre in which men, women, children, babies, and Holocaust survivors were brutally murdered. 10/7 saw the slaughter of young people at a peace music festival, the sexual assault of girls as young as 13, and the kidnapping of hundreds to Gaza, only for Christensen to claim Sinwar died as a “symbol of Palestinian resistance.” Christensen goes on to say Israel lied about Sinwar being a billionaire who abandoned his people for a life of luxury, arguing instead that Sinwar died in a bombed-out building in Gaza and ‘resisted to his last breath.’ He insists Sinwar was wrongly labeled a coward who sold out his people.
