Ambereen Dadabhoy

Ambereen Dadabhoy is an associate professor of Literature at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, who has garnered significant condemnation for her antisemitic stance on the Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023, where terrorists committed some of the worst war crimes in modern history. Instead of condemning the terror attacks, the professor defended the terror organization. Furthermore, she has faced scrutiny for refuting Hamas’s involvement in the violent sexual assault of Israeli women during that time.

Rather than condemning Hamas for their violence against innocent Israelis on October 7th, Dadabhoy posted a photo depicting Hamas and Palestinians breaching the Israeli-Gaza border fence just before the brutal killing of 1200 Israelis, describing the image as “iconic” in her social media post caption.

On March 2, 2024, Ambereen Dadabhoy made disparaging remarks about Mia Schem, a survivor of the Supernova Rave massacre who was abducted and held captive by a Palestinian family in Gaza. Despite Mia suffering grave injuries from being shot by Hamas terrorists during the attack and undergoing surgery by a veterinarian without pain relief, Dr. Dadabhoy chose to belittle her ordeal. In a tweet, she callously questioned Mia’s reaction of escaping sexual assault, asking if Mia’s “low self-esteem” stemmed from her perception of herself as “rapeable” as a white woman. She further denounced Zionism, labeling it a “mental disorder” and minimizing Hamas’s actions by stating, “Also, Hamas aren’t rapists and they have standards.”

In addition to supporting terrorism and ridiculing sexual assault survivors, Ambereen Dadabhoy called for violence against the Jewish people. On December 6, 2023, the professor tweeted for “intifada now.” This call to globalize the Intifada endorses large-scale terror attacks against Jews worldwide.

Harvey Mudd College must uphold its commitment to academic integrity and ethical standards by cutting all connections with Ambereen Dadabhoy. Her continued presence on campus poses a significant threat to Jewish students, faculty, and the entire community. StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help – email President Nembhard to voice your concerns!
