A pair of Citi Bike riders stole hats from four different Hasidic men in the span of two hours in separate incidents police are investigating as hate crimes, the NYPD said Wednesday.

The two thieves were sharing a single Citi Bike on Bedford Avenue, near Clymer Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn Monday when they approached a 21-year-old Hasidic man and snatched his hat, police said.

The pair stole another 21-year-old Hasidic man’s hat on Bedford Avenue, near Willoughby Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, 20 minutes later, the NYPD said.

Ten minutes after that, they snatched a 46-year-old Hasidic man’s hat at the same location, police said.

Around 5:30 p.m. that same day, meanwhile, the two stole a 48-year-old Hasidic man’s hat at the intersection of Bedford and Myrtle avenues, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
