‘Blood Tribe’ White Supremacists Plague South Dakota Municipal Landmark

A group of about 20 masked people wearing bright red shirts gathered on the State Capitol steps and unfurled a Nazi flag in the afternoon on Saturday.

According to Governor Kristi Noem, the group had no permit and was escorted from the capitol grounds by state troopers.

They were seen earlier in the day marching in other areas of the capital city. It’s currently unknown exactly who the group is or where they came from.

Governor Noem took to Twitter shortly after the event to condemn the group’s actions and ideology.

“Nazis are not welcome here in South Dakota,” she said. “We stand on the shoulders of generations of Americans who have fought for the freedom of all — here and abroad.”

She went on to say, “We stand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness — we reject all hatred and Nazis — full stop.”
