Jewish Press Building in New York Defaced With Antisemitic Messages

The Madison office of The Jewish Press was vandalized early Friday morning with anti-Israel graffiti.

Signs and graffiti posted on the windows of the office at 3692 Bedford Avenue in Madison say “no illegal settlers” and “no land theft.” Another sign says “The Jewish Press” and “genocide.” A Palestinian flag was also stuck onto the window. And red paint — a symbol used by pro-Palestinian vandals throughout the latest war in Gaza — was splotched on the windows and the sidewalk in front of the structure, a large apartment building with The Jewish Press offices on the ground floor.

This was the latest of numerous instances of graffiti and vandalization by anti-Israel activists since Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, kicking off the war in Gaza.

Flatbush Shomrim tell Hamodia that surveillance footage, which police are expected to release soon, shows the vandalization occurring around 3:30 a.m.

The Jewish Press is a Zionist weekly newspaper founded in 1960.
