‘Goyim Defense League’ (GDL) Harasses Central-California Neighborhood with Antisemitic Flyers

The Fresno Police Department announced Friday that they are investigating a hate incident after papers containing general hate propaganda and unfounded conspiracy theories were left on central Fresno driveways.

The Jewish advocacy group StopAntisemitism has been tracking the activities of those responsible – the Goyim Defense League’ or ‘GDL’ for over five years and state they vilify Jews with their premeditated hate campaigns.

Residents in the area say they found plastic bags with what appeared to be Nazi propaganda in them near Fruit and Dakota avenues. Police confirm that they were also notified that residents living in the area had found papers containing hate statements. The papers had been placed in plastic bags and thrown onto the residential driveways.

Officers, community service officers, and police cadets have begun canvassing the affected neighborhoods and removing any flyers they can find. Officers are also working to secure any surveillance video that shows who left the papers.

Of the flyers recovered so far, police say “there are no direct threats to any members of our community.”

Anyone with information about who left the papers is encouraged to contact the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000.
